Absolutely delicious sandwiches and fresh baked goods. I tried the roast beef sandwich with a horseradish aioli, roasted red pepper and watercress on a baguette. It was truly delicious as was the lemon pound cake. But this place is not cheap. I asked for a slice of the lemon pound cake and was asked for $8. That's right, $8 for a slice (they slice it thinly into two slices). The sandwiches can't be beat, fresh ingredients with some unique combinations but skip the pound cake and pick up a slice at Starbucks down the street for half the price. I took off a star for the outrageous pricing, but it's standard for the area.

I consider this a Tribeca gem: delicious, homemade and affordable food, including some vegan and vegetarian options. Wonderful break and cookies, too. Love the grab and go section. Do wish the salads were a bit greener--as in field greens, kale, spinach. Solid place!

I've been coming for years -- very solid lunch spot. Complaints about price seem to be from tourists unfamiliar with standard NYC lunch prices. $12-15/person is the norm, especially for quality outposts in high-rent districts.
The staff are always pleasant despite the hectic queues that can form during the lunch rush, and Clementine is a valued establishment in the neighborhood that deserves to be around for a very long time. -

Great soups, but they tried to charge 75 cents for a side of hot sauce (tobacco)- unacceptable

Always a favorite for healthy filling vegetarian soups- which are not always easy to find. Their salads and pastries are delicious as well. It's a cute little space and I've been coming here for years- never had a bad experience. Pricepoint is comparable for the area!
